Holy Sheep Shawl
$9.00
This shawl was designed for that dark, atmospheric time between the glowing October days and the bright white days in January. Worked in mitered squares, one at a time, and tucked into your coat.

Description
Holy Sheep is my design for Preparation, the final chapter of Gathering Season with The Farmer’s Daughter Fibers. They describe Preparation as “the final tuck-in before winter. Everything in its place.”
This shawl was designed to be knitted and worn during that season. It is simply constructed, one piece at a time. The center square is flanked by two, striped, garter stitch swings and an applied I-cord border finishes it. Every square is a quick finish, and the project fits in a bag you can carry to waiting rooms, sidelines, and the ten minutes before dinner. A map in the pattern keeps you on track, so you always know what comes next.
From the testers

“This was a fun, quick knit! Lots of new techniques learned but the instructions/videos were helpful. A fabulous looking shawl!”
Size
One size: 52” / 132 cm wingspan and 16” / 40.5 cm deep at the center, after blocking.

The shawl and a gauge swatch used nearly the whole skein of MC. If you knit loosely or want peace of mind, buy a second skein.
